Hello, I’m Katya Belitskiy, Principal Product Designer based in San Francisco
Bay Area.

For over 20 years, I’ve led product design across Fortune 500 enterprises and high-growth startups. In recent years, my work has focused on complex fintech, AI-powered, and data-driven platforms, as well as scalable e-commerce ecosystems.

I specialize in turning ambiguity into clear product strategy, aligning business goals with real user needs, and shipping scalable systems that drive measurable impact.

Katya Belitskiy was born in Kiev, Ukraine in early 1980s. She spent most of her life in San Francisco, California where she attended middle school, high school, and university. She is fearless, hard-worker with hunger for new experiences and knowled…
The most important thing about me is mycreativity. It comes to me naturally andI’m thrilled to bring it to work every day.
I discovered my passion for art when I was 10 years old. I fell in love drawing fairytale storyboards.
When I was 16, I designed my firstmagazine (In Microsoft Word 98) & my love affair with graphic design begun. 
One-year later, I designed my first website. at that point I realized the design possibilities were endless… 
From 2000 until today I wore hats of graphic designer, web designer, marketing manager, product designer, UX & UI designer, Creative Director.
Today, I’m the UX Team of one - determined to help teams define their product story and help turn their ideas into meaningful product experiences that delight.  

UX Achievement

Led UX Design on a new product development for major financial companies. Newly launched sites catapulted visit-to-order ratios, while decreasing the page abandonment rate by 18% 

Identified “low-hanging-fruit” and easy-to-fix usability issues in existing products of several major financial companies, producing customer acquisition increases of up to 15.4%.

Researched, strategized, and launched UX improvements that increased customer retention by as much as 24.5%.

Designed high-impact, user-centered websites with strong emotional appeal and intuitive navigation to maximize user engagement.

Facilitated landing page A/B split testing, where winning version increased conversion rate by 14.8%.

Increased user conversions by 28% shrinking the checkout process to a single page for major eCommerce website.
